War on Terrorism : Ground Zero by Nancy Louis

974.7 LOU

War on Terrorism: Ground Zero by Nancy Louis is a very sad story about the World Trade Center (WTC) which WAS in Manhattan, New York City, New York, United States. The problem was that the World Trade Center collapsed on September 11, 2001 (9/11/01) after being struck by two hijacked airplanes. Most of the people died. The horrible terrorists made it collapse. If you like books about collapses and buildings you might like this nonfiction book. I recommend this story because it is a book about tragedy and if you like books about tragedy, destruction, and sadness you might read this book.

This is an awesome star book.

Cats by Seymour Simon

599.75 SIM

Cats is an excellent book that tells you about cute little cats. It tells you how they like to hunt like their wild cousins the big cats even though they are fed, unless they are strays on the street and all alone. It also tells you that Egyptians were the first people to keep cats. The cats that lived in Egypt were loyal. They were kept to stop mice and other rodents from getting to the food storage. The book explains how when they fall they automatically twist their bodies. And land on their feet. How keen there eyes and ears are. How their whiskers are sensitive to touch. How they have an excellent memory. They make sounds about how they feel and what they mean. How they use body motions to show what they are feeling. The book explains many kittens a female cat has. What a mother cat does to her kittens after birth. What happens to kitten when it’s growing up. What type the most famous cat is. How Longhairs are more vulnerable in the wild and the Breeds of shorthairs. It also answers some questions that you might have. Last but not least it tells you how many people have cats as pets. I recommend this book because. Many people love cats and I really, really love cats as well. Plus they are very cute.

I give this book   stars.
