Are You There God? It’s me Margaret by Judy Blume

Are You There God? It’s me Margaret is one fantastic story about a group of girls, Margaret, Nancy, Jeanie and Gretchen. The problem of the story is that Margaret is afraid she wouldn’t get something before the other girls, so she asked God for help. If you like learning about girl things you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because a lot of girls will like to learn about girl things. Also about secrets. Another thing is that she asks for help or advice. This is a marvelous book for students in third grade and up. I give it stars.

Fudge-A-Mania by Judy Blume

This book was published in 1991. It has 147 pages. 
Fudge-A-Mania is an awesome story about two brothers named Peter and Fudge. Peter is a teenager in 7th grade and Fudge is a five year old disaster. Fudge and Peter are going on a vacation with Peter’s worst enemy Sheila Tubman and Peter is freaking out because Peter and Fudge spend a whole vacation with Sheila. Will Peter survive with Fudge and Sheila? If you like books about excitement you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it has a lot of creativity about the vacation and what happens with the two brothers and Shelia. It has a lot of an adventure. This is a fantastic book, I give it stars. It is recommended for students in fourth and fifth grade.

Superfudge by Judy Blume (sequel to Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing)

This book was published in 1980. It has 166 pages. 
Superfudge is a funny story about when Fudge is going to become a big brother. Peter thinks that Fudge is not ready to be a big brother yet. The rest of the book it is very funny. If you like books about funny things you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it is very funny. My favorite part was when Fudge talked like Grover from Sesame Street. This is a hilarious book, I give it stars. It is recommended for student in 4th and 5th grades.

Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great is an awesome story about when Sheila and her family go on a vacation. Sheila has a sister name Libby and they do not get along. Also, Shelia does not know how to swim. So she gets swimming lessons and learns how to. So when Shelia goes on vacation there is a girl next door and they become good friends. If you like books about friendship you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it’s a great book about friendship a Joe O.wavnd it’s a great book to make connections with. It’s a great book to read for fun. This is a fantastic book, I give it   stars. It is recommended for students in 4th and 5th grade.

Gloria’s Way by Ann Cameron

This book was published in 2000. It has 98 pages.

Gloria’s Way is a wonderful story. There are 6 stories in this book. In "A Valentine for My Mother" Gloria made a valentine for her mom and it flew a way. In the second story “The Promise” Latisha asked her friends if they wanted to go to her house and all her friends promised her they would come over and they would eat Latisha’s pie. In the third story "Spunky’s Obsession" Gloria taught Spunky the dog to sit and get down and to get off of someone. There are three more stories to read in this book, and you will find out when you read it. If you like books about finding things you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this book because I liked how it gave you a memory of writing valentines for your mom and other stuff. This is a wonderful book, I give it stars. I recommended for students in 3 or 4th grade.

Penalty Shot by Mathew F. Christopher

Penalty Shot is an action packed story about a boy named Jeff who does bad in school and he’s not allowed to play hockey unless he picks up his grades. Then he has to redo a report and someone messes the report all up to try to get Jeff off the hockey team. Will Jeff be able to play hockey? If you like books about sports you might like this fiction book. I recommend this story because it is about a place similar to where I live, and it is amazing what Jeff will go through to stay on the hockey team. You will never want to stop reading it because it is a sports mystery. 
This is a wonderful book, I give it stars.

Ramona the Pest by Beverly Cleary
This book was published in 1968. It has 192 pages. 
Ramona the Pest is a funny story about Ramona going to Kindergarten and she is very excited! Her sister Bezus (Beatrice) thinks she is a pest. This is a magnificent book to read. Ramona is so funny. I’ve read this book 6 times, and I can’t get enough of it. If you like books about funny characters and pulling hair you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it is funny. And I like funny characters, and big sisters. This is an awesome book, I give it   stars. It is recommended for students in 4th – 5th grade.

Frindle by Andrew Clements

Frindle is a fantastic story about a boy Nick who came up with another name for a pen, which is Frindle. The problem is that he gets in trouble, too much trouble. His teacher banned this word from school. Will Nick give up? Read this book to find out. If you like books that are funny you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because Nick and his friends have a frindle. I like the characterization, and he is like me. This is a marvelous book, I gave it stars.

Frindle by Andrew Clements is a great book. It is a book about a kid named Nick that finds a pen and calls it a Frindle. Then his teacher finds out he calls it a Frindle and she gets mad and makes a big scene about him calling a pen a Frindle. If you like books by Andrew Clements you might like this wonderful fiction book about a boy named Nick calling a pen a Frindle. I recommend this book because it is very exciting and these school stories are the best. I like when Nick puts sand in the classroom. This is a wonderful book, I give it stars!

The Report Card is an entertaining story about a girl that doesn’t have good grades. This book is about a girl who gets straight D’s in school. She is really a genius, but she doesn’t want anybody to know. She brings her report card home and makes it bad because she wants to prove a point. If you like books about complication you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it is creative. You should read this book because it is interesting and exciting. This is an interesting book, I give it  stars. It is recommended for students in 3-4th grade.

Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo 
Because of Winn-Dixie is an emotional story about a girl who didn’t know her mother much. The characters are India Opal, Winn-Dixie and India Opal’s dad. The problem of the story is India Opal wants a dog that she found in a supermarket called Winn-Dixie, and the dog Winn- Dixie knocked down the tomatoes.  Before that Opal gets a new collar and a leash for Winn- Dixie. She has to go work for this man that owns the pet store for a while. The guy she worked for was in jail. If you like a book about a girl that loses her dog and goes looking for it in a thunderstorm you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this book because it is kind of funny sometimes and it is a great book for kids that like pets. This is a great book for students in third grade and up. I give this book stars.

This book was published in 2004. it has 160 pages. 
Mallory on the Move is a wonderful story about a girl moving and she doesn’t want to. The story is about a girl who doesn’t want to move. She believes that she won’t make a friend at all. If you like books about being nice you might like this friendship book. I recommend this story because it will teach you to be a friend. It is exciting because it has suspense. You just want to keep reading. It was exciting when everybody hate Mallory because she was getting mad. This is a fun book, I give it  stars. It is recommended for students in 1st-3rd grade.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a funny story about a boy named Greg, who writes about every part of his life in a diary. He explains how his embarrassments are caused by his family and faithful friend, Rowley. Also, he describes the childish games played at his school like “the cheese touch”. Greg continuously tries to up his popularity, but Rowley always messes it up. If you like books about funny stories you might like this fiction book. I recommend this book because it shows the funny life of an uprising middle school with creative schemes. The plot changes drastically throughout the story so you have more to enjoy. It is in a language that most kids understand today. This is a phenomenal book I give it  stars It is recommended for students in grades 5-7.

The Diary of a Wimpy Kid is an interesting story about a boy named Greg Heffley who writes a journal about his life experiences during his transition to middle school. This book is really easy to understand because at some times you can relate to what Greg goes through. If you like books about school stories you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because like I said you can relate to what Greg goes through which could help you understand the book more. This is a great book, I give it stars. I recommend this book for students in 4th grade and up.

Will he keep his secret or not? If you like people with a secret you might like this funny realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because I like this book. It was great because there were lots of funny parts, but the funniest part was when Greg was on the swim team. This is a funny book, I give it stars. It is recommended for students in 2nd through 7th grade.

This book was published in 2006. It has 200 pages. 
Rules is an amazing story about a girl named Catherine who has a brother, David with special needs. David has autism so she always needs to help him. She gives him rules so he can act normal. At the doctor she meets a boy that has special problems, his name is Jason. He uses a book with cards to speak. Catherine and Jason become close friends who do lots of weird things together. If you like books about sad / happy things you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it is so good you can’t possibly put this wonderful book down. I think this is one of the best books ever written that’s why I recommend it. The part I loved about it was that even if you have special problems like David you can still accomplish things. This is a fantastic book, I give it stars. This is recommended to children 4th-6th grade.

Reach for the Stars (The Amazing Days of Abby Hays #3) by Anne Mazer

This book was published in 2000.  It has 122 pages.
Reach for the Stars is a spectacular story about when Abby Hays is in a play about Peter Pan.  She tries out for the school play and she doesn't get the part she wants, but she gets to be a narrator and also gets to rewrite the whole story.  If you like books about school stories you might like this realistic fiction book.  I recommend this book because it is really funny.  It is funny because one part in the book they said Breanna brags a lot.  This is a fabulous book, I give it stars.  It is recommended for students in 3rd-5th grade.

Petey by Ben Mikaelsen

Petey is a sad and intelligent story about a man that has Cerebral Palsy. His family had to give him up because they did not have enough money to pay the bills, like the doctors bills. So Petey stayed at an institution. He got more help and attention there. He is better off were he is. Petey meets a boy about 12 years old named Trevor. At first, Trevor was scared of Petey, but then he saw more then a crimpled man. If you like helping people you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it is heart warming, intelligent, and just a nice book to read. I hope you read this book. 
This is a fantastic book, I give this book  stars.

Petey by Ben Mikaelsen is a first-class book about a person named Petey who has a serious case of cerebral palsy. Through the story he makes many friends, but as he gets more friends, he loses more friends. At the end he dies because of his sickness. You might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this heartwarming story about a man who is disabled. This is a magnificent book for student at a high reading level.

Petey by Ben Mikaelsen is an emotional story about a boy named Petey who is diagnosed as an idiot. Petey and his friend Calvin have to go through hard time’s together, dealing with their problems, friends leaving them and their friendship being split. If you like books about what happens in someone life you might like this fictional book. I recommend this story because when you read this book you will have many feelings. Another reason I recommend this book is because when you read this book you can hear the different voices of Petey, Calvin and some the other characters. The last reason I recommend this book is because some times the things the characters say if can be funny. This is an excellent book for fourth graders and up.

Red Midnight is a suspenseful story about Santiago and his sister Angelina escaping soldiers that came to kill his family. They suffer a month on a Cayuco, a sailing kayak. Will they make it to their destination, the United States of America? If you like books about survival, you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it has lots of suspense from the beginning to the end of the story. You always want to find out what happens at the end of the story. You always want to know what’s going to happen next. 
This is an incredible book, I give it  (5) stars.

This book was published in 2000.  It has 110 pages.
Calling All Boys is a funny book about two twin sisters who have to go to a boarding school because their father has to go to Australia so that he can look at a tree with more than 2000 rare bugs…. But that is just the beginning. The girls need to find a date to the welcome back dance, but it is an all girl school. Read the book to see who they take to the dance. If you like books about a teenage life then you might like this fictional book. I recommend this book because I like Mary – Kate & Ashley book series. I give this book stars.

Junie B. Jones Has a Monster Under Her Bed  is an enticing story about school. Junie B. Jones has picture day at her school, and while they were waiting Paulie Allen Puffer said that there are monsters under her bed. So Junie B. Jones has a problem sleeping and if she goes to sleep she thinks the monster might see her feet hanging down. Will she ever get to sleep? If you like books about Junie B. Jones you might like realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because the plot is funny. One example is when she gets into this book is trouble she always says “Hello, Hoe are you doing today?” Junie B is really funny too. This book is spectacular. This is an awesome book, I give it  stars.

They all go to the farm, but Junie B. is scared of ponies. If you like books about Junie B. you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this book because it is really funny. It is funny because she is begging to find something good on the farm. This is an awesome book for students in 2nd Grade and up.

If you like books about girls and their troubles you might like this realistic book. I recommend this story because it cracks me up every time I read it. She’s curious. She’s funny. This is a perfect book for students in 2-5 grade.

Shredderman: Secrect Identy is an awesome story about a little boy named Nolan. Nolan has a report to do and he made a website to share it. His report is going to be on the school bully Bubba. So when the report is in every teacher will know that Bubba is being a bully. The website contains secrets and photos about bubba. So get this cool book if you like books about secrets you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it has this story because it has is a hilarious, suspensful and exhilerating book. When Nolan gets into a bad situation he finds a creative way to get out of the situation.

Shredderman: Secret Identity is a fantastic book about a boy named Nolan who is dealing with a bully named Bubba. Bubba keeps taking money and stuff from Nolan, and he makes fun of Nolan and lots of other people, too. Nolan secretly changes his name to Shredderman and makes a website to make Bubba stop bullying. Will Bubba ever leave people alone or will he keep up with his bullying? If you books about problems in school then you might like this realistic fiction book called Shredderman: Secret Identity. I recommend this book because it tells you how life in school is. The best part is when Nolan makes his website, and puts pictures of Bubba bullying people. This is a spectacular book, I give it  stars. I recommend for students in third grade and up.

Attack  of  the  Tagger is a  awesome  story  about  a  boy  named  Nolan  and  how  he  becomes  Shredderman  by  starting  a  website  Shredderman.com. He solves mysteries and the mystery he solves in this book is the tagger that keeps tagging bridges, trucks and a lot of other stuff. If  you like books about mystery solving superheros you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it's suspencefull , exiting, and humorous. Like when Nolan was in the trash can *****************. Well I don't want to give it away.
This is a brilliant book, I give it stars.

A Dog Called Kitty is an outstanding story about a young boy named Ricky. He is not been doing very well in school. When he finds a stray dog in his backyard he stays clear of it. Does he finally get the courage to go near the dog? Will he be friends with this dog? Will the dog help him do better in school? There’s so many things, that you’ll have to read the book to find out! If you like books about dogs then you might like this realistic fiction book. I recommend this story because it tells you that all dogs won’t attack or hurt you.. I also like it because it shows it is possible to overcome your fears. This is an amazing book, I give it . I recommend this book to kids in 3rd grade and up.
