Double Fudge by Judy Blume
Double Fudge is a great book about a kid whose life is not exactly how he planned it to be. Pete is the boy’s name and his little brother Fudge is a pain. Pete, his parents, and his bro Fudge go on a trip to a money factory because Fudge is in love with money. So they decide to go to see how the money is made. While they are on the vacation they meet the father’s long lost cousins. So they meet up and get some ice cream. The cousins stay with Pete and his family. Pete starts to get sick of them and wants them to leave, without trying to be mean. After a long time they finally leave. This book is a lot more fun then I make it to seem. This book kept mine and my friends’ attention. I hope you read  this book soon.
I give it stars.

Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown
FIC BRO
This book was published in 1964. It has 65 pages.
Flat Stanley is fantabulous story about a boy named Stanley Lambchop that gets hit by a bulletin board at night and gets flattened. He goes to a doctor and gets examined, but the doctor says they’ll have to keep an eye on him. Stanley was four feet tall, about a foot wide, and a half-inch thick. Stanley had fun being flat and he got to do lots of things that he couldn’t do before like go through grates, through door slots, and in an envelope. If you like books about flat people you might like this humorous book. I recommend this story because it is cool to see how people can go through changes and still live. My favorite part was when Stanley becomes flat. This is a fantastic book, but I only give it stars because it was not realistic enough.

This book was published in 1988. It has 240 pages.
Matilda is a funny story about a little girl named Matilda. Her parents don’t care about her. She loves to read and she wants to go to school. She has a big brother that always bosses her around. She goes to the library very often, and her family is really mean to her. So whenever they are mean to her she uses her special powers. For example, her father was heading for her in her room and he was calling her names. So she was really mad at him but she couldn’t do anything about it except to use her powers. So she shut the door right on him. Good for Matilda!! So then at father’s dealership he met a very large woman named Miss Trunchbull and she was the principal of an elementary school. She wasn’t a very nice woman to children. Whenever a child did something wrong they went in the Chokey. It had knives and hammers sticking out of it. Then later in the story Miss Honey comes along. She is the nicest person in the whole school. Miss Trunchbull was Miss Honey’s Aunt. Nobody knew about there relationship, and Miss Honey personally didn’t like her. So when Matilda went to class, she met Miss Honey. Matilda looked up to her and Matilda was very good and smart in class. After school that day Miss. Honey went over to Matilda’s house and talked to her parents about Matilda skipping a grade. But her parents didn’t approve. If this story sounds good so far and you like it go ahead and read the book Matilda!! If you like books about excitement and surprises you might like this fiction book. I recommend this story because it is exiting and it was fun to read, also because it is really funny. This is an exhilarating book, I give it   stars. It is recommended for students in 4-5 grades.
